Nordic Choice Hotels is looking for Head of Content Marketing

The two business units Content & Engagement and Digital Creative Center are merged to form a pan-Nordic Content Marketing Team and we are now looking for our new Head of Content Marketing.

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated manager with a broad background from digital communication and marketing. Our new Head of Content Marketing is not only commercial, creative and enthusiastic, but also a people-person that creates real motivation for business and personal goals.

The role will be in charge of and demands high knowledge of:

  • Social media platforms
  • Traffic generation
  • E-Commerce and CRM
  • Content management and channel management
  • Cross device and platform publishing technology
  • SEO
  • Business development
  • Business intelligence and analytics


The role manages a team of twelve dedicated experts and professionals that strive to develop further knowledge and seeks a manager who can define direction and target goals on both strategic and individual level. You will be an important member of the executive marketing team, and be the Nordic Choice Hotel content and engagement visionary and head of content production for all platforms. You will plan, execute and report on content creation, distribution and impact for all content marketing activities in Nordic Choice Hotels.

We are looking for someone with several years of experience as a team leader or manager in a digital marketing environment. You are used to managing both creative and analytical people, and to plan and report results and ROI on communication and marketing activities. You can present great results from working with consumer communication/marketing for brands and well known products in the Nordics. You have experience from working and contributing on an executive level not only in marketing, but also in business planning, management and strategy.

You will need to speak and write at least one of the Nordic languages in addition to good English language skills.

The team is based in Oslo and Stockholm, and as manager you will have to work from both offices. Prepare for weekly travel. But do not worry, you will be in good company - many of our employees are frequent visitors at the airports in Stockholm and Oslo.
