Tom Wood is seeking a talented and strategic Copywriter to join our team in Oslo. You will be instrumental in shaping and articulating the Tom Wood voice, ensuring our narrative is compelling, consistent, and effectively communicated across all channels and touchpoints. Your words will bring our brand, products, and campaigns to life.

The Copywriter will be responsible for developing and executing messaging frameworks that align with our product, marketing, and overall brand strategy. You will strategize and craft engaging copy that resonates with our audience across product descriptions, wholesale materials, retail communications, social media, and more. This role requires a creative mindset, a sharp eye for detail, and a deep understanding of how language can drive brand perception and engagement. You will work closely with our Marketing, Design, Product, and Sales teams to create impactful content.

Main responsibilities

  • Develop and execute messaging frameworks across product, marketing, and overarching brand strategy, ensuring a consistent and impactful Tom Wood voice
  • Strategize, write, and edit compelling copy as a key component for various platforms and needs, including: marketing campaigns, newsletters, product descriptions, website content, wholesale and retail materials
  • Translate brand strategy and marketing objectives into clear, engaging, and persuasive copy
  • Proofread and edit all copy to ensure accuracy, clarity, and grammatical correctness
  • Research industry trends, competitor communication, and customer insights to inform messaging strategies
  • Develop and collaborate with the marketing leads to develop, maintain and continuously evolve the brand tone of voice guidelines
  • Collaborate with the Creative Designer and marketing team to ensure copy and visuals work harmoniously to create a cohesive brand experience


We are looking for someone who

  • Proven experience as a Copywriter, ideally within the fashion, lifestyle, luxury, or a related creative industry
  • A strong portfolio showcasing versatile and high-quality writing samples across different platforms and formats
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing messaging frameworks and brand voice strategies
  • Ability to work cross functionally within different teams and disciplines throughout the business
  • Ability to think strategically about how copy can achieve business and marketing objectives
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with an impeccable command of the English language. (Norwegian or other Scandinavian languages would be a plus)
  • Experience writing for both digital and print mediums
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • A creative and conceptual thinker with a keen eye for detail
