We are looking for someone to be our go-to Marketing Automation expert, bridging the gap between MA-product team and CX Business teams. We need someone who really knows their way around Subscription and Marketing Automation tools and can make sure the tech stuff actually helps our business do what it needs. You'll be in charge of making things run smoother for our Customer Communication & Lifecycle experts, and working hand-in-hand with our tech teams to ensure effective processes.

User revenue and subscriptions are one of the most important strategic focus areas for Schibsted. Our Nordic CX-team is now seeking a specialist to drive the delivery of technical solutions that enhance customer communication, personalized experiences, and commercial results for Subscriptions. This role requires managing multiple tasks, understanding the big picture while being hands-on, possessing technical expertise, and the ability to delve into issues within our subscription platform (including Braze, Salesforce, Zuora, and more).
In other words; you are a problem solver by nature; you can identify and carry out activities for improvements within Marketing Automation on your own initiative; and you are able to deep-dive into various issues related to our subscription platform.
The Platform Implementation Specialist role is part of the Customer Journey & Communication department in Schibsted Subscription. We handle CX and communication towards the subscriber base for all brands in Schibsted Media, across Norway and Sweden
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY AND TASKS
- Help ensure the correct and smart utilization of functionalities and opportunities with our system portfolio, and a Marketing Automation setup that enable scalability and standardization
- Work as an embedded resource in order to advice and guide on implementation and development of advanced customer journeys and communication when needed in different projects and workstreams
- Be a "hands-on" problem solver for key technical challenges related to customer base optimization, system utilization, QA processes, and E2E implementation.
- Assist in describing needs and business impact in connection with the implementation of new functionality related to Marketing Automation and subscriptions
- Coordinate and/or participate in projects that ensure functionality to deliver holistic customer journeys

- Is a distinct problem-solver who can grasp the overall context while also possessing the ability to delve into detailed aspects
- Has strong digital competence in technology, data, and marketing automation systems, preferably with 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Is experienced in leading cross-functional projects and workflows, bridging the gap between technical platform development and various business units
- Is able to see the opportunities related to scaling solutions across products and different business logic
- Preferably has experience with subscription products and understanding of subscription business
- Is detail oriented and good at communicating technical complexity to the business side and business goals to the technical side
- Ensures implementation of initiatives on their own, likes to be “hands on”, and knows when to involve others
