Marketing Director Nordics

Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Implementation of the international brand strategy based on the local necessities, incl. the brand transition strategy for the retail brand
  • Preparation of concepts, planning and implementation of marketing strategies for the Nordic markets, with a distinct focus on Norway and Denmark
  • Analysis and anticipation of consumer trends
  • Development and management of an integrated marketing mix (incl. ATL and BTL initiatives, performance marketing, POS, CRM, PR, events)
  • Full responsibility of the Marketing team (based in Norway and Denmark), budget, planning and deadlines
  • Complete responsibility for B2B and B2C activities in collaboration with sales dept.
  • Planning and implementation of online and offline campaigns with the head office's marketing department in Germany
  • Close collaboration and reconciliation with the sales and ecommerce departments
  • Extension of cooperations and customer partnerships in the field of marketing


Background / Experience:

  • Education in Economics/Marketing incl. e-commerce and digital marketing
  • Documented results in the Scandinavian B2B and B2C consumer market
  • >10 years of experience in brand strategies
  • Entrepreneurial approach to costs and earnings as well as structure and organization in an international company
  • Distinctive analytical and conceptual hands-on mentality skills
  • Natural leadership skills, communicative and strong team builder
  • Engaged and "out of the box" personality, active networker
  • Fluent in Norwegian; very well knowledge of Danish and Swedish is an advantage
  • Strong English skills (oral / written)
  • A personal interest in photography
