Dr. Johnny Ryan is Head of Ecosystem for PageFair, currently focusing on GDPR, the ePrivacy Regulation, and media sustainability. His expert commentary on adblocking, privacy, and digital has appeared in publications all over the world. He has a background in policy think tanks, academia, and media. He started his career as a designer, and returned to design thinking later as Executive Director of The Innovation Academy at University College Dublin. He was an associate on the emerging digital environment at the Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge, and occasionally lectures at the Business School of University College Dublin. He has a PhD from the University of Cambridge.
